Question Lx-470

Glad you are here.

My 2001 LX has stock tires. All has been well. Quiet. Good grip. High speed stability. Good on broken rock and in mud.

Anything out there better?

I pull trailers up to around 7,000 pounds on a balanced trailer with brakes.

Highway speeds are between 55-105.

Off-road is mostly deep mud/water, deep snow (well above the frame so its just smushing), and loose rock climbing in the mountains. There is enough of this sort of driving that it matters for the tire selection.

Of course, now and then it goes around the city. Not that much. Mostly it lives as a truck.

If possible, I don't want a lot of tire noise.

Air downs are fine with me.

Snow and ice travel is important as I do alot of northern New England driving and also do transport for hospital staff in the DC area.

Thanks!
