2004 Ls 430 Tire/Wheel Help- 18in.
I need some serious advice from tire and wheel experts.
I have a new 2004 Flint/black LS 430 with factory 17. inch tires/wheels.
I am planning to replace with 18 inch All Seasons with new After-Market wheels.
Will you please provide the best choices for All Seasons and an elegant ,yet sporty wheel, to set off my LS vehicle.
Thanks
Pete

Far from an expert but if I were you I would start my research with the following.
1. BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS
2. Kumho ECSTA ASX
3. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
4. Goodyear Eagle RS-A
Read the tire reviews on Tire rack from customers that actually had them. If I recall the Gforce may have had a problem with handling on wet surfaces, but I am not sure. Three of these tires are under 200.00 each and for what you want to put them on I think that is money well saved. More money does not equal better tire. I currently use 100.00 Sumitomos on my GS and I drive pretty hard, I dont think spirited sums it up. These 100.00 Tires handle every bit as good and last twice as long as the 200.00-300.00 S02 polepositions that I used to use
HOpe this helps
P.S. THese are all season tires and should be good for you up in PA not as good as snow tires in the snow but a great compromise.

In the summer, I put on my 18" aftermarket with summer tires. For what it's worth, ever consider keeping your stock wheels with all season and ordering aftermarket's with high performance summer tires?
