Default pzero nero m&s or proxes 4 for my gs?

I'm thinking of getting 245/40/18's in either the pzero nero m&s's or the proxes 4. I'm hoping for good handling and QUIET! Anyone had either of these tires on your gs?

I watched that date move around and had checked with local shops about these. One of the TR guys commented it could be 3 months, that was the same story I heard locally as of Tuesday.

So daleer...fingers crossed for ya.

I called treadepot and the guy called pirelli and then called me back and said they'd have it in 2 weeks - so hopefully the Dec. date listed on tirerack is correct this time - if not I'll probably go with the proxes 4. I'm guessing the pzero nero m&s is a good quiet tire since others on here have been looking for it as well. I have yet to find anyone who's tried both it and the new proxes 4 and can compare them for performance and quiet operation.

I put the Proxes 4 on my GS300 in September. They are definately a nice tire and a great bang for the buck.

i also am in sales, and sell Toyo commercial tires. we are the largest commercial toyo tire dealer in socal and i just put 20' t1s prxes on my lex gs and love em!! i think they are one of the best tires on the market period!!!

i fully recommend the toyo tire and as far as my customer base goes i have very little if an y problems or complaints!!!

I think both tires will handle well enough for my purposes - the pzero's have the advantage in terms of treadwear. I guess what it will come down to is which tire is quieter - that's really the most important to me but I don't know anyone who's tried both and can compare the road noise.

Cool

I'd go for the Toyo Proxes 4.....they are not offered on tirerack mind you, but you can go to www.tiretrends.com & put in the tire size your looking for....click on the Toyo Proxes 4's & search for the reviews........it's an AWESOME rated tire & cheaper than the Pirelli.

Sounds like most recommend the proxes 4 over the pzero nero m&s. I may have to go that way based on all the recommendations. Are the proxes 4 QUIET - I DO NOT want noisy tires.
Thanks.

The TS-1's are a ultra high performance 'summer' tire, where as the Proxes 4's are an UHP 'all season' tire.
