Toyo Proxes TPT
Well, I finally decided to buy the TPT's from Toyo. I wish Tire Rack carried them. ANyway, I have put them on my LS, GS, and '92 Trans Sport. I have "always" used MIchelins before and I know they are a great tire, but I am amazed at the wet weather traction and the quiet nature of these Toyo's. They have a 500 mile return policy for those of you that are a little skeptical.
Now, I'm only talking about 15K miles of experience in total on all 3 vehicles, so time will tell. My MXV4 Plus lasted 50K miles on my LS. The pilot Sports lasted 35K on the GS. The Trans Sport had Aquatreads
How do you feel about Toyos TPT's?

They are an excellent tire gebo If you do a search on here as well as (www.lexusownersclub.com) you will see that I recommend them very highly & several members have them on their ES & other Lexus products. They are excellent in the rain (especially heavy rain) & very good in the snow as well......60,000 mile treadwear warranty......you can't go wrong. Much less expensive & a better than the Michelin MXV4's! Good Luck & remember they are a directional tire.

Lexuxfreak,
I want to thank you. You are the main reason I started investigating them. I have them on 3 of my 4 vehicles. They will be on all 4 eventually (although it will be a while before the Michelins on my daughter's Accord wear out!). They are harder to get than other tires but worth every penny up to this point. I'm anxious for the snow to make a final decision.

gebo, Happy to have been able to help. The Toyo's do very well in the snowy conditions of course driven with common sense You will notice that they are just awesome in the heavy rain as well. Good Luck & update us when you have had a chance to test them in the snow.
