Default shipping rims

I recently received a set that was shipped by UPS.

I know that some vendors use Fedex and I've heard that you can ship with Greyhound.

Good luck.

I bought a set of rims from a fellow CL member and he shipped them via UPS ground. I believe UPS came to his house, wrapped them in cardboard, and took them away. It ended up being about $30 per rim to ship them from the east coast to Chicago.

Right. UPS came to the seller's house to pick up the set of rims/tires. When UPS arrived, the seller directed the UPS man to his garage, where he was storing the set. The UPS guy covered the top and bottom of each rim/tire with cardboard and then basically wrapped the entire rim/tire with clear packing tape.

Similar / related question.

If I wanted to buy boxes to ship wheels / tires (assume 25x25x12 ish size, think these are what my HREs came in), any advise on where to go buy them and / or estimated cost to buy?
