Wheel offset fitment questions
I'm considering a good deal on a set of rims someone is selling from a 240sx forum. The specs are:
Front: 17x8.5 +30 offset
Rear 17x9.5 +22 offset
I know the front should fit ok. How about the rear? Will they protrude over the rear fenders alot? I'm willing to roll or cut the fenders lips to make more clearance for the tires. I did a search and I know couple of members managed to run 9.5 +17 with the help of excessive negative camber which I'm trying to avoid. Afterall I don't want a drifter setup and sacrafice too much on comfort.
This is my first set of wheels for my SC and I want to do this right. Any help is greatly appreciated!

both front and rear is pushing it, either you'll have to pull your fenders, stretch tires and camber it out to fit, or go all out and get a widebody or flares, that should do it

Hmmm... put some 18x9", +15mm Work Maximer wheels on a friend's SC300.. pics below:
Note that everything does stay under the fenderwells, and nothing sticks out beyond them. A 9.5", +22mm wheel will actually be about 1-2mm more in than those rear wheels, whereas the 8.5", +30mm wheels will be about 3/4" more sunken in than those fronts (you'd probably want to run at least a 5mm spacer behind them just to bring them out a bit). So those wheels mentioned will fit, though you will most likely have to roll your rear fenders at least, and you'll also want to try and stick to 235s in front and 255s in back at most
