new wheels & tires
I ask this before but no 100% answer. What offset wheels I need (same size front and rear) for 18x8 wheels with 245/40/18 tires. My car, 2001 Gs 300 with L-tuned suspension.Did any of You guys have same set up. Thank You.

A +35 to +40 is "safe," as the OE 17" wheels are 17x8 +50.
You could run as low as about +22 with an 18x8 (same frontspacing as the 20x9 +35 on the front of my car), but it would be very aggressive. Most aftermarket wheel manufacturers will offer something like +35, +38, or +40 for this car. Personally, I prefer a more aggressive look, so for a safe fitment I would use 18x8 +35. To me, an 18x8 +40 looks too "sucked in."
