Default SC300 offset for clearing Supra brakes

Ok here is the run down. I am looking to get some 18s with a decent size tire to retain ride comfort for my SC300. I would like a decent lip on them. I would like to know what width and offset I should get to allow a nice size lip (decent) but that would also allow me to add Supra calipers in the future. Also if someone could help me choose a nice tire size that is still a comfortable ride. No more 35 series bicycle tires for me.

if you want to upgrade to TT brakes, you will barely have any lip for front.

it doens't matter by offset for BBK's, you need high disk fitment.

Feel free to pick from some 18 inch choices on our site and I can check the supra brake fitment to be sure that they will work.

OK I think I finally found my wheels. Here is a quote directly from the site in regards to size, offset, and recommended tire size.

"This includes the 18x9.0" for the front (+34 offset) & 18x10.0" for the rear (+42 offset) in Supra fitment. You can fit 245/40/18 tires on the front & 285/35/18 tires on the rear without any fender modifications.

Now my original question about will these clear supra brakes still stands but now i would like to know what size tires to use. I really wanted to avoid the 35 in the back. I was hoping to do 40's on all 4 corners. Does anyone know what size to get with a 40 for the rears and does anyone have any pics of their car with this tire sizes so I can get an idea of how much tire I am looking at riding on....

My guess is..

18x9 +34 offset with 245 in the front is borderline from rubbing..

18x10 +42 offset with 285 is also borderline...

I would do 235 in the front and 275 in the back just be to on the safe side

Thanks for the advice. I am assuming you are still going by 35's in the rear??
