Where can I buy McGard locks?
Hi All,
Wondering if you could point me to a reputable source to purchase a set of McGard locks for my Volk wheels? This is on an IS. A local shop ordered a pair of the black tuner lug locks but they did not fit (I think they ordered the wrong one). They said I would have to go through Toyota for my case because of vendor licensing from McGard. True?
Help please!
The McGard site refers to part # 25257 for an IS300.

The Gorilla tuner lock-style nuts have served me very well for years:

Inexpensive, too. All 20 lug nuts are locks.

I got 2 different sets of spinning Gorilla locks and another set of McGuard locks. The spinning ones are to prevent hammering a socket over the lock.

Hopefully the stock anti-theft system and the Clifford G5 will help prevent that. It also helps to not park in the street overnight, or in areas that are not safe. It's worked for me all my life. Every car I have owned has been modded with wheels, ICE, the works, and not one break-in.
::knock on wood::
Bottom line tho: If they want it, they will take it.

CleanSC: Those are the same style lugs that came with my Volks. I've got the GT-C. I just would like some extra protection...you're right though...if they want it, they'll get it.
McGard 25357 looks like it could be the one, but I'm not sure. Definitely need the narrow style with cone seat or bulge I believe. My lugs are black, so I'm looking for a matching lock.
Thx for everyone's input. Keep the info coming! I'm sure this is helpful for others!
