Default new bfg 225/30/20 tire with 1.5 drop

Is it possible to put a 20" on a 97 es with an intrax drop of 1.5 inches. I would use the new super small 225/30 tire by bfg that just came out. I don't care about ride quality, I have 18's now and I want to go with a bigger rim and with that new tire that just came out would it work? Any suggestions? Let me know, thanks.

Aggresive, it would be very aggressive esp. with the drop the OD is ok width is not bad, I would think it would work with some fender rolling.

Agreed, the rear strut shaft on the ES is what you have to look out for. Also, a 1.5 may be alot, perhaps after the wheels are mounted, see how much clearance you have, the H&R 1" may be needed instead. I think that width is good.

I was just looking at a new wheel in my catalog that is 20x7.5 for FWD cars and wondering how it would look on a ES. I will post a pic, let me know what you think. I think the thin spoke design, will prevent the wheel from looking "cartoonish" as a flat face wheel would. Its avail in chrome as well.
