Is this a good idea????
right now my RMM kit is being installed and I only have the OEM 16's with stock rubber for now. I do have coilovers although, would this be silly to put OEM 17's on the car, Im trying to make my car a little higher off the ground without raising the car, especially with the RMM kit.

putting 17s won't raise up your car, coz' the tires have lower profile and so the overall diameter is still about the same. unless you go with 20s, you won't be able to really "raise" up your car
and off the record, forget about getting 17s, it's too small still... let alone the oem one, which has horrible offset

Just kidding, I agree with Rom, with the RMM aggressive front bumper, stock 17s will not be much help. Maybe crusie the classifieds for a set of cheapie 20s just to hold you over?
Good luck
