help with valve stem o ring...

Default help with valve stem o ring...

Ok so my tires are dismounted and i notice that my valve stem O rings are kinda dried up.. where can i get new ones?

These are my Kenstyle rims.. and i checked on their site and did the yen to dollar conversion and it came up to be $15 each or so for a valvestem replacement.. =/

so yea can i get those anywhere?

they *look* like standard metal valve stem grommets... You should be able to go to any Firestone or Discount/Americas Tire and compare. Both places should have them on hand to compare to... cost - $2-$5 each, depending on who you run into... I used to give them away, as they only cost the store somewhere around .25 each... Actually, I don't recall how much the metal stems are... I know the rubber valves were like .10 cents each... I still just gave them away as a nice gesture...

herm... i think i might go check out BIG O at lunch or something.. hermm

also im pretty sure the metal shim can be reused . we'll see =/

ok i got some new valve stems... and swapped the rubbers and it worked! all are sealing. i hope.

sadly i cut one rubber ring... cuz i thought it wouldnt fit.. sigh turns out it did =/
