Wheel size in the SC430??
Hi all!!
I would like to upgrade the stock wheels/tires in my 2002 SC430 to a 20" wheels/tires.
My question is wich is the widest inches wheels I can use in the front and rear of this car? Because what I saw with the stock 18" wheels, it still has a lots of room there to put at least 2" mode wide in the wheel.
Can anybody confirm me about that since I want to upgrade the wheels in my car?
Thanks!!

If I were inclined to change out the stock wheels for larger ones, I would certainly contact Wheel Experts or the Tire Rack for technical advice before ordering. There is a lot of advice in this forum, and many SC430 owners have replaced their stock rims. Take your time and do some research. You are modifying a pretty expensive automobile. Remember, that the more modifications that you perform, the smaller your market for resale.

What you are looking at is more a function of offset than width. The SC430 runs very low offsets (it can accept 20" wheels with offsets in the high 20s low 30s), so with higher offset wheels, they are "inset" or not flush with the fender.
The easiest combo is probably 20x8.5fr and 20x10rr. if you order the correct offsets, you can get that "flushed" look.
What is your budget, wheels and tires? And what style of wheels do you like?
