Default Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 verses Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Does anyone have any experince with the new Michelin Sport PS2 or the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 . Plan to run

275/35 on 19X9.5 40MM on the rear of GS400. I am leaning towards the Michelin as I like the tread pattern better.

Cool

I'd add the Toyo Proxes TS-1 to that short list too!

Default Michelins

I have tested the 2 side by side on the road and on the track. The Goodyears make me feal pretty confident I can tell what they are doing and I get alot of feedback at the limit. Then I drove the PS2, I was sure that they were slower. I felt very secure but didn't feel that fast, then I looked at the numbers and I killed the GY. Both are excellent you would really have to have them to the limit but the PS2 are the best no doubt in my mind.

brandon

not trying to jack the thread but i do have the the goodyears f1 gsd3 , they have been outstanding quiet responsive and comfty but goodyear has raised the price almost 250 for a set compared towhat i paid last year so my question is how would you compare the goodyears to the dunlap sp9000 for the price on those are more reasonable ( i have a problem spending well over 1100 for rubber )

how do you or your customers like the dunlaps sp9000

Well you can read the customer reviews on our website of course that will give you an idea of how the customers like them. Personally, I have tested them a couple times and they do have a good ride quality but they don't compare to the GY in performance and handling. Hope this helps.

Default Michelin Sport SP2

I went with the Michelin Sport SP2. They are great. Much better than the S03s. Very quite and nice performance.

Just put these on gs43 about 100 miles ago. Feels good so far. I can feel a little sidewall flex on hard turns

I went from the S-03 to the GS-D3. The GY are ok but I find them a step down in handling. Next up for me will be the PS2.
