they also remind me of OZ Vela's. In any case, they're knockoffs.

Knock-offs = If you compare the Volante's to the Amistad V's, I'm sure you'll notice a big difference in terms of finish and construction between the two. You get what you pay for (I'm guessing not much, judging by the fact that it's a wheel/tire package)...the choice is yours.

As for the tires....Nankang? That sounds like a Korean brand? Personally, the only Korean brand tire I'd suggest you go with is Hankook (specifically the Ventus series)...I wouldn't trust any other Korean brands such as Kumho or Nankang.

okay so in conlusion, i should not get those rims, i could prob get other rubbers, but as far as the rim goes, do you guys think its a good deal, or no
rims with rubber = 1175
so what would you guys do

so iguess the one i posted is a knock off, any ideas on how this knock off is rated comapred to the other knock offs, like the OZ or the other companys

I respectfully disagree with the tires comment. I've had some Kumho's for about two years and don't have any complaints. I searched about this and other tires a lot (primarily on this site) before making a decision on buying some tires. Kumho's are a cost effective option to some of the other tires that are out there. I believe they are made by Dunlop?

i would just get what ever wheel you like it's your car but your not going to get quality wheels for 1000 maybe if you saved up and spent 2000 or 2500 you can get some real good wheels
