This may be a stupid question ,but i wanted to know is there any way to fix up curb rash on chrome rims without having to re-dip the whole rim? I have chrome 18inch Giovanna' s that were on the car when i bought it and are still in excellent condition besides the curb rash on 3 of the rims. It isn't too bad but i would love to sand it down and refinish it but i dont know if it can be done. Any ideas guys???

polishing won't make it any better cosmetically, and with a 3-piece, you can rechrome just the lips. with giovanna, it'll probably be all-or-nothing rechroming

Bump for help. Any other ideas? Would you have to rechrome all the wheel? I have a wheel which I badly messed up on a curb. The lip is very scratched. Anyone here do it? I just want it to look like the others.
