Default 255/35/19s in front w/Tein CS?

Hi guys,

Just wondering how well 255/35/19s fit in front. Currently the car has 275/30/19s in the rear and 245/35/19s in front, dropped to the lowest setting with the Tein CS kit. No problems with the 245/35/19s in front, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried a 255/35/19 in front with a similar setup.

The right rear tire shredded last night, so I decided to get a set of new Goodyear GS-D3s for the rear, and if I'm doing the rears I might as well do the fronts too.

Only reason for going from 245s/255s is for a hair more sidewall protection (I don't expect any handling benefit).

Thanks!

Dozer,

you'll be happy with the Eagle F1 GSD3's I have those on my wifes GS430. I am currently running 255/35/20 at stock height with no rubbing issues but our setups are like comparing apples to oranges so i'm wondering why i even responded duh

No, it's all good information to have.

I was considering the new MIchelin PS2s, supposed to be an awesome tire, but reports are that the Goodyear is quieter (important to me), and when I checked with the TireRack they said they wouldn't sell me the PS2 anyway. You have to have them as OEM tires currently to re-order them, and they'd cost over $400.

Screw that, I'll take the Goodyears at $293. Had to pay extra to get 'em shipped over 2-day air though.

I have 20 x9.5 all around with 275/30/20 on the front and 285/30/20 on the back. I have the TEIN lowering suspension and don not have any rubbing at all. I'll post some pictures as soon as i get them.
