BMW Tire sizes??
I need opions on tire fitment for a buddy and thought you all could help.
Here's the deal:
98 BMW 740iL
My bro just bought M series wheels for his rig.
Size is 18 x 8 F 18 x 9.5 R
He bought (was advised by Americas Tire) the following size tires and is unhappy with the "look" so to speak-
235/50 F and 255/45 R
My question is, are these the correct size tires for these wheels, and, can he go with a different set up to achieve a more aggresive stance?? Less sidewall on the fronts (50 vs 45 or 40 series) and perhaps more vertical sidewall (265-275) on the rears??
Thanks in advance-
Doug
