Default MORE bad news - WORK TERMIST 19" fitments discontinued!

As the title states, I attempted to order a set of 19" Termist wheels for a customer and was greeted with the death knell!! The 19" Termist models are a slow seller in Japan so the plug has been pulled on that size. (smaller sizes still availible). It kinda sucks because they are the best balance of plus sizing, brand equity, and value.

The Euroline, Seeker and Ryver series are still viable options in the same general price range though. All the GB guys that just got their 19" Termist's better enjoy!!

The Termist is an alright lookin' wheel....at least Work still has the Rezax and the VS-XX, both of which I prefer much more than the former

I hear ya Seize, the VS and Resax are certainly a little more attractive, they also cost 1k and 2k more respectively!!! LOL

So all of the 19" Termist models are discontinued? What about the Termist TS1 Reloaded?

Unfortunately yes they are, the exact cut off date is still TBD, so if you want to order a set, you may want to act fast!

No not hardly, the thing is they base their offerings primarily on what sells in Japan, and the Termist 19" must be "the dog that won't hunt" over there!!

My friend just got a set of termist mesh style (forgot exact name, reload?) so he lucked out!

But I smell BS in his price... he said he got front 19x8.5 and rear 19x9.5 for $900... no way... right?! I would think it's below cost!!

It's for his 350 Z...

$900?? he must paid someone to steal those wheels..... there is absolutely no way that he can get a set of 19" Work wheels for that price even if it is used... well unless they are damaged...

One question I always have is: if a wheel is discountinue, will that make the existing wheel more pricy because of its rarity or it goes the opposite way because you can't get a replacement wheel..... anyone???

By the way, I am thinking about selling my 19" Work Termist TM1 Reloaded.......

Nice windup and pitch man!!! That was a perfect lead in!

Honestly I guess it would all fall to the consumer and their perception. For instance the Equip was "supposed" to be discontinued last year, and everyone wept, yet when I offered 19 and 20" applications during the GB, no one purchased any.

WORK is kinda funny like that. I'm looking into ordering a set of TS1's in 19" now, and there will be no price premium.
