what would happen if you put 225/60/16 instead of 225/55/16 as oem

Default what would happen if you put 225/60/16 instead of 225/55/16 as oem

just wondering if it is a big deal to go slightly bigger 225/60/16 vs. 225/55/16. Would the speedo be off? If so, by a lot? Also if there are any other negative consequences. Thanks

the speed will be off, maybe around 5%? (just off the top of my head)

According to the tire calc, the speedometer will be showing a speed that is 3.4% too slow. If it helps, early on, Lexus had 216/60 as the stock size for 16s.
