After seen the Junction Produce Scara.........I actually start to like step-in lip wheels.

Yes it does , Because of the step ,the center is smaller diameter and I think it makes the wheel look out of proportion..........................................Step is old skool .............meaning Hot Rods

When looking directly at the wheel face, the step makes the whole thing look too busy. I like the clean reverse lip myself.

well isn't the step lip a smaller wheel just with added lip 2 make it look bigger..like isn't the step lip 20" really an 19 with 2 lips 2 give the 20 affect or something like that? i'm just wondoring not sure....
but i do like the reverse lip wheel more...jp makes a scara in 18 inch reverse lip and it looks crazy i wondor what the 20 would look like reverse lip

I'm ignorant about this as well. Are we comparing the VIP rims to really low disc rims?

I think it all depends on the wheel. While I normally prefer reverse lip, I think a 20" Scara with the step lip would be . Its funny that Lexhost called them old school, because when I was younger, the way I identified a multipiece wheel was via the stepped lip. I think thats why I kinda still like them. Stepped lips seem to work a little better on German or VIP cars (aggressive offsets, etc etc)
