Default what do you think

what do you think these ssr gt3 in the new satin color would look like on a 99 black gs 400 nicely lowered in 18 in stagg

Hi Lexforlife, I think you should invest in some 20" wheels if you can instead of the 18". I think you will be a lot happier. You spend a little more but the end result is beautiful!!!! that's my opinion. Perhaps a 20x8.5 & 20x10. I honestly believe that is the ulimate look on a lowered GS imo. Nevertheless I do like SSR wheel. Does it come in a 19 or 20"/

al

thanks for the tip but i am into perf rather then looks ... 20in just to heavy and to prone to bends and stuff i am careful but when engaged in battle you never know whats coming (in the road that is) 19 still to heavy and again still prone to bends ... when you look at the m5 2k+ they designed the car with 18 in stagg setup which is a compromise between somes looks and alot of perf

take a look at the photoshop forum some guys just photoshopped my car with 18 ssr gt3 in satin ,, now tell me it doesnt look hot

blue also check out this link showing them on a bm but at least you have a better idea of finish

do you think the satin looks better the the bright silver gt3 for my black and do you think i should go for 19 instead

remember i am changing out the ltuned springs for the lower (about a 1inch lower in front and about .5 in the rear ) Daizens in a couple of weeks and they are abit stiffer then the ltuned.. honestly with your coilovers and the 20 hows your ride comfort..

heres a pic also of the 19 in

which one should i pull the trigger on

tough..tough..tough...if u r going 18x10 in thre rear than i like the ssr gt3 better , satin over silver. size wise. u know me i like big cus i don't drive fast or hard but it depends on what u really want. what is the weight differrence from 18 to 19? comfort wise i have no issues i love how it rides now. but will u have an issue with the drop on the new springs if u go 19? i don't think so but not 100% sure.

If you're getting an 'open' rim design with lips I would get 19's instead of 18's - the lip, particularly on the rear will make the wheels look smaller than they are.
