oh i am not saying anything below 40 is bad. if road conditions are good over there, of course you are good. but knowing the road conditions here in cali, i don't take chances

and LexAristo, it's not about safe or not, all it takes is a pothole out of nowhere

My tire shop recommended 45-48 psi, but that way it felt like I had no tires at all... now I have 42 psi all around, the rides much better and still (thank God) no problem with tires bubbling nor bent rims. I believe with lower profile tires (30, 35) you should have at least 40 psi... safer for your rims, especially when you're hitting potholes since you have more "air cushion" within the tires.
