Question Please help LS400 with 20"

Could someone please help me with this.
I have came up on a great deal for a set of 20" wheels for my 1998 LS400 but is concerned with rubbing issues and ride quality issues. The front wheels are 20x8.5 with a 45 offset and the rears are 20x9.5 with a 40 offset. Will these wheels fit on the car that is lowered 1 inch without any rubbing issues and will this drastically change the ride quality of the car.
Please help.
Thanks

offset and size are fine..BUT, you need to find out if the front is HIGH disk..the 1998 and newer LS, UCF21 has larger brake calipers

anytime you go for 19/20s, your ride will be affected..then again, ride quality and tolerance is subjective

I'm kinda new at this .......High disk meaning the wheel is not as deep as a low disk? Well Maybe I will just have to try mounting the wheel and see if it hits the caliper.

Also do you guys have any suggestions on which springs I should go with and what tire size would be the best for this application.....
I really appretiate all the help. Thanks a lot..

Espelir or Kg-mm from japan for the springs

LT, well, i really do not have the exact answer for you. but fabulous' big selling point is that their wheel, esp for the Celsior , can fit the low disk in the front, despite the hugh brake caliper, esp on the LS430

These wheels are Sterns Axia made by Henodex of japan. They were discontinued a few years ago but I got this last set from the importer I use to work for. It just has a regular polished lip with a silver finish the almost perfectly matches the silver on the lower half of my diamond white LS.
I'll will post pics right after I put the rims on.

Yeah sounds like fun.......But I hope I have my rims and suspension on by then.......the car is stock right now...I just bought it a month ago and is totally in love. It rides like I'm on clouds and it is totally quiet. I really hope I dont mess it up with these mods.It replaced my old riced out Del Sol which had way too much stuff done to it to be pratical anymore.
I decided to get the LS because it just seemed a little more pratical than the S500 MBZ I was looking into.
