I thought it was the opposite. If you have a +50 offset it'll be closer to your suspension.
I thought if you had a +25 offset on an identical wheel, it'll stick out a bit more.

I thought negative offset makes your wheels stick out.....hmmmm, I gotta do more reading.

sorry, by saying "it" i was referring to the back of the center of the wheel, not the whole wheel as a whole
