Would SS lines purchased for a GS now still fit when I upgrade to Supra brakes in the future?

i had a feeling that even with the supra brakes, you still use the GS ss lines. my ap racing brakes were made for the supra, when i got the kit it already had the ss line. but i couldn't use that one and i had to put on the ss line for the GS. i assume the same thing applies?
