Default Which tires would you get for oem 17inch rims?

I am going to be soon upgrading to oem 17inch rims and I was curious on what tires to get. I know the oem bridgestones are no good. So I was thinking of getting the pole postion bridgestones. Do you guys think thats a good choice? Also will I was reading a thread started a while back ago that said going from 16's to 17's will mess up the speedometer a bit. But what I don't get is each gs that comes from the factory with 17inch wheels have different settings for the speedometer? That seems werid to me? Well any info will help. I know this is a little mod or not even a mod but I barely have enough money to do this lol!

Check on www.tirerack.com to find out whats available.......you need an exact size to find out whats out there from all tire makers. I'd look for either Michelin, Toyo or Yokohama myself. I will never get bridgestones ever again, no matter how good they claim to be.

If you want performance, light road noise, and excellent traction and tread pattern on an all-season, go with a set of Toyos. I have the Proxes TPT in my last two ES's, including my current one. Those tires really hold up well in all 4 seasons, and I have no complaints about them at all. The only "odd" thing about Toyo tires is that Tirerack.com does not carry them

I totally agree with lexusk8 comments I too have the Toyo Proxes TPT's on my 01 ES & find them just fantastic in every way & in all seasons! You can pick them up for around $85 - 90 a tire. I'd give them some serious consideration.
