Looking for an answer:

I have a 2001 GS300 with 17" wheels. I have 235/45R17 tires which are in need of replacement.

Since I like the overall look of the vehicle as it stands but prefer fatter tires, is it possible to go to 245/45R17 tires without ANY modifications?

You might want to phone a couple tire dealers and ask them the question of fitment to make sure.

245/45 17 will be fine on a GS300.

if you talk about the stock 17s then yes no problem
