It definately was a concern believe it or not. If you've ever been here when it rains you'd know why. The roads get very slippery from the oil build up. My first set of performance tires (I use that term loosely) were a set of Toyos. They would not hook up in the rain at all. I'd have to drive my Eclipse sometimes it was so bad. People also drive like total morons in the rain here. 2 weeks ago it rained and there were about 100 accidents in 2 hours. Any extra grip meant being able to avoid these idiots. MP's all the way.

Went with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Decided to go Michelin although the Continental definately was better value as a tire but in the end decided the better tire was the way to go after talking with Brandon. They were delivered today from Tirerack, very efficient service and I plan on having them fitted tomorrow.

Should have got rid of the R/F's sooner
Maybe because the Bridgestone R/F's were so noisy and hard riding but the difference the Pilot Sports A/S make is nothing short of amazing. I finally feel I am driving a Lexus again! Quiet and a much better ride I should have done this thousands of miles ago. For any one out there contemplating the swap it is well worth it
