does anyone know if those poratable air pumps that u plug up to ur cig lighter will pump up a 20in tire? Someone told me it wouldnt.

I don't see why it wouldn't. in fact, theoretically, it will fill up a 20" tire faster than it will fill up tires with bigger profiles on smaller wheels. I know your question has noting to do with the speed at which it will fill up a tire, but I thought I would just throw that in there, since we're on the topic.

But to more pointedly answer your question, a portable air pump should be able to fill up ANY size tire so long as it's properly mounted on the wheel. This is what common sence dictates to me. I am ready, however, to be proven wrong.
