Smile fikse usa wheels

i just was reading the local paper and found out that the Fikse USA INC makes forged wheels right here in the town i work in, Kent Washington.

my question is has anyone got any opinions or experience with them?

they say a large part of the wheels they sell go to racing teams. and in fact the winner at Le Mans last year had Fiske wheels

i've included a web link for anyone who would like to look at their product

http://www.fikse.com/yourcar.html

you can see a picture of a gs400 with their wheels on by scrolling thru a list of cars on that page.

thanks ivan

IMO some of the nicest wheels ever made...quality stuff, I've seen them up close on a Porsche 911 Turbo and and E46 M3 Bimmer...

Oh man, if they came in 20"s I'd sell my rims in an instant!!

I have always thought of Fiske as a boltless HRE (before HRE started doing boltless look!). I always thought they were of the same quality, dont know if I'm right though!

I don't like the wheels because of the hoop step it causes the center of the wheel to be smaller
I like a wheel made with a reverse hoop it gives the wheel a larger look.

They make some old school high quality wheels. They have been in business for years. You're lucky to have such reputable wheel company in town.

To be totally honest, I kinda like the step design sometimes, adds a classy look, thats why I still like the regular HRE 540s! I mean reverse is def the issh, but stepped looks nice as well, IMHO

Reverse hoop design wheel is also a stronger wheel and a lot of them have the valves stems on the inside to give a cleaner look .

Seize, From your pic and with the Mothers polish sitting there that must be a satin polished Fiske wheel,it looks nice but with a reverse hoop it would be a beautiful wheel to me.
