Aftermarket rotors
I was wondering if anyone had bought a set of brake rotors from Time + money from ebay and how theyre working? He sells rotors made to fit exactly like OEM rotors, except much much cheaper. The manufacturer is "OP parts." My mechanic recomended me not to buy aftermarket rotors and simply machining my existing factory rotors will suffice.
I'm just curious if the OP rotors offer similar braking performance... it doesnt seem possible when a whole set of OPs cost $110, the toyotas are 120 each for the fronts, and 160 each for the rear.
One LS owner has fitted these rotors and they are working out great.

I had aftrermarket rotors on my car (not from that particular guy) and they started warping after 3000 miles. They might work, but you have to figure that if they don't, in the end you'll spend twice as much. I've had http://www.frozenrotors.com/ for the last 8000 miles and have been very pleased. They cryo treat OEM rotors. Prices were much less than I expected (maybe less than dealer prices.)
