How can I tell if unmounted tires are good?
Sorry for asking this stupid question.
I just purchased two used Michelin Pilot Sport 245/40/17 tires from someone off the internet. The seller seems to be very sincere and honest so I am sure these tires are 99% mint.
However, just in case the UPS has accidentally damaged the tires. Is there a good way to tell if these tires are good (meaning it has no hole, no puncture or other serious flaw/blemish) short of actually mounting them?
I bought these so I could replaced my to be worn Michelin Pilot sport tires.
Any idea? Suggestion?
Thanks a lot.
Jon
