Default Tire size question?

Anyone know if you can put a 255 series tire on a 8.5" wheel. I currently have 245/35 and I can get a really good deal on some new tires that are 255/35. Any suggestions???

A 255/35 is "perfect" on a 9" wide rim, but works well on an 8.5" rimm, too. I say go for it!
Are we talking about 19s or 20s?

Even though you are on 19's, your car looks pretty low, you might have a slight rub in front such as when you turn to back out of a parking space, it's a gamble but I would stick with 245/35's in front and 255/35's in back. Just my two cents.
