Anyone with 18" BBS RGR? Need offset!
Moderator, can you PLEEEAASE leave this post here for a couple of days? I'm in the midst of trying to order new wheels, and I really need advice!
Anyone who has 18" BBS RGR wheels... I really need some help. I've been told by Good Roads, which is one of the largest wheel retailers in So. Florida, that the offset on 18" BBS RGR's is 35-40 all the way around. Tire Rack says it's 45 front/42 rear. Which is correct?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Wow, 18x7.5 for the front of a GS? That's pretty narrow... the OE 17s are 17x8 +50.
The 18x7.5 +45 front will about the same (relative to the fender ) as the OE 17x8 +50 (they are actually .03" more inboard than stock).
For the rear, 18x9 +35 will fit easily: this is .690" outboard (about 18mm) of the OE 17x8 +50.
One other consideration: what tire sizes are you going to run? The GS should have 245/40-18 front & 275/35-18 rear. The 245 is really much too wide for the 7.5" wide wheel- it will look ridiculous. The 275 woun't look too bad on the 9" wide rim, but a 9.5" is really preferable. BBS doesn't have an 18x8 or 18x8.5 for the front? That's silly...

Thanks for the input, guys.
SoCalSC4... it is pretty silly, but the RGR doesn't come in an 18x8. It is only available in 18x7.5 for the front and either 18x9 or 18x10 for the rear. I really don't want 7.5 in the front and 10 in the rear because of the difference in lip size. I'm willing to make sacrifices because my GS Sportdesign has titanium headlights and black pearl emblems, so the Black Diamond finish on these wheels would look great. The OEM gunmetal alloys are nice, but they're stock 16"s. Haven't really seen any other wheels I like as much.
Brandon... I'm pretty sure the Meineke dealer I work with will be ordering them from Tire Rack. He usually works with Good Roads, but I asked him to check with you guys this time around.

dseag2: How 'bout putting the 18x9 +35 on the front and the 18x10 on the rear?
You could use 18x10 +42 to +50 and not even need to roll the rear fender lip...
For reference, I run 20x9 +36 on the front of my GS with a 255/35-20- works fine!
Let me know what offsets the 18x10 are available in, I can make a recommendation!

SoCalSC4, I appreciate the recommendation, but I want the look to be a little more subtle... closer to stock but better. And believe me... just having 18''s will be a huge upgrade from the 16"s.
