HELP. lost my wheel lock key
i need help asap. i lost my wheel lock key and i need to take my rims off. Is there a way besides hammering a small socket onto the lock to get it off?.this sucks hella bad. any help would be good

I think wheel locks are a waste of time if a theif really want your wheels. When I bought my car, it already had rims and wheel locks on it, but they didn't give me the key. I needed brake work, so I took it over to discount tire to see if they can break the locks. It only took them 2 minutes to take off all four locks without any scratches and I was on my way.
I ended up buying another set of locks w/ a key for $25 but I really feel it's a waste.
