tires and wheels setup

hi all....im a new guy here....i have some questions to ask. im thinking about changing my stock tires and wheels with an 18". but i dont know the common setup for them. thanks for answering my questions

you have is300, i guess 18x8 and 18x9 is a common setup, with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18?
