Default Newbie Question? Why is bigger better?

Hi,

I read many of the threads in the Tire forums and many people are determined to go from 15"/16" to 18:-20". What are the advantages and disadvantages of getting bigger tires?

Thanks in advance.

Default Upsize

In general upsizing will increase performance and looks. But will decrease ride quality and all season traction. Here is a nice link about plus sizing.

I like the way a plus sized wheel setup fills out the wheelwell when combined with the correct lowering!
