What tires for a 90 LS400?
Time to replace the rubber on my moms LS. What is the best tire for that car? Needs to be quiet and good riding. I don't need a Z rating because my mom is 89 years old. The car has a little less than 15,000 total miles on it. I need some input so that I get the correct tire the first time. Thanks, Skip

A '90 LS-400 with only 15,000 miles on it......Holy ******.....Does she want to sell it ???
I am running Yokohama YK420 --tire size -- P205/65R-15 -- these have been a great tire and wear well.

i'm running some dunlop sp5000's on mu '91 ls400. they ride smooth, not much road noise, but the ride is kinda rough, you can easily feel evey imperfection on the road, but its tollerable. got em at sears for $90 each.

Faulken Xiex 512's
Excellent handling
low rolling resistance
Consumer reports #1 tire
Only about 65 bucks a tire
I have these on my LS400, and love them. They are much better than the Toyo Proxes tire that I was using, and they are way cheaper.
