HELP! Im Rubbing on 20in Rims!

Exclamation HELP! Im Rubbing on 20in Rims!

I got 20's, 245/ 35/ 20 Khumo tires. I think 9.5 wide. Im just rubbin in the front end. My friend said its the control arm? It looks like its part of the shocks. Well, whatever it is . . its literally peircing the tires. I can hit a lil bump and it'LL rub like crazy. Can someone please help me!! A. S. A. P. thanks

If you have 9.5 in the front, no wonder you're rubbing. I think that's too wide.

I think you are the first I've heard with 9.5 fronts. Wow.

You can keep the 9.5 if you flare the fender. But he says he's rubbing on the shock? Wrong offset..... Only solution is change the wheels

i agree , u probably have wrong offset of wheels. might need 2 change the wheels, sorry dude,,...

You need at least +38 to clear the upper control arm due to the higher diameter of 20's. You have 2 choices, either shave the control arms or install spacers.

BTW, 20x9.5 is a little too agressive at the front

So bottom line . . i need new wheels? like about 8 or 8.5 wide? and it gotta have a +38 offset? WoW i didnt bother to check . . my friend sold it to me for $600 brand new too (Dont ask why its so cheap because i dont even know hehe). I guess imma take 'em oFF and try to seLL them to someone with a truck or something I just wanna double check. What are you guys sizes??

same size all around go with 8.5/9

staggered setup 8.5/9.5 or 9/10

ya if u want the same size like front and rear go 20x8.5 front and rear if u want a more aggressive look go staggard and get 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear...offset i think u need a +38 up front like jacob said and rear i hitnk it doesn't matter. but check with these guys b4 u buy..i have 20x8.5 front w/+44 offset and 20x10 rear w/+48 offset.. hope this helps....good luck...

i have 20x8.5 with 35mm offset and 255/35-20. have not mounted on the 2nd Gen yet so dont know about rubbing, VERY minor rubbing when they were on my dropped 1st Gen.

What is the brand of your wheels? Are you sure you have a 9.5 on a 245 tire, that would be a major STRETCH!! Post pics if you can and we can probably help a little better
