Default HELP!!! My caliper is frozen!

Hello fellow Sc300 owners. My SC has a rear passenger side caliper that is frozen. Now, I need to get a new one . . . the price I got quoted was pretty high. I know many of you have done the Supra Big Brake upgrade. So, do any of you have a rear passenger side caliper in good condition lying around?

Go ahead and pm me or leave me some info on this thread . . . thanks.

zokiz those of us who went the brake upgrade route are probably not going to sell just one caliper... you'll probably have to buy both the rears unless your going to buy a new one from the dealer. the rear calipers are worth more than the fronts.. good luck with your finds

I've had good luck with the remans that CarQuest sells. I have them on the front of my Toyota 4x4 and rear of my Volvo 850. Their rebuilder is very thorough and the price is about 1/4 dealer new and 1/2 dealer reman, based on Toyota pricing.

I had a frozen front caliper and had to replace it. My buddy works at Midas and he got me a loaded caliper for like 150. Goodluck.
