Lebron IS the best player in the world. Right now. You can't deny that. But a great player cannot beat a great team.

Meh, I dislike the hero worship in the sport, whether it be James or Curry right now...though both are great players. I do think that Curry had a better team around him, while James' guys were out due to injury.

I hate the lebron is the best player in the world talk... (Because I dont think he is at all) but Cleveland Lost because he didn't have much a of a team behind him and they did not utilize their bench. Basically, I think they lost due to bad coaching and terrible player rotations. They rotated the same 7 guys when the GS used almost their whole bench to mix it up a bit

Plus Golden State WAS THE BETTER TEAM. They had no players that were Lebron-esk but they won because they were the better team and deserved to win.

This playoffs did remind me of the old nike puppet commercials tho

Pretty much. It looked like Lebron and 4 other high school AAU basketball players.

To be honest, his stock rose in my opinion. He literally had to do everything and was involved in almost every play on the court. Played Point Center in game 5 for about a quarter. Two assists short of averaging a triple double. All of that is not suppose to happen ever, let alone in a NBA finals. No way Lebron was going to beat the Warriors but he did a damn good job leading a rec squad to the NBA finals. haha

About every play was a Lebron iso and everyone waited for him to make his move.

He carried the team on his back. All of them. And beat the warriors twice.

Yup. If you're the only one who can create your own shot or put people in the position to score then you have to do what you can to win. Have to play with the cards you were dealt. It is what it is. If he wasnt scoring then he was accredited an assist or a hockey assist. I dont know the stats, but I wouldnt be surprised if he played a roll in about 75% or more of all points scored.

Lebron can't seem to catch a break. He was the only one of the 'big three' healthy and had to carry the entire load and did so tremendously well. Everyone will look at the loss and his finals record but what they won't see are the circumstances that he had to face in the post seasons. I'm not a Cavalier fan (more Golden State than Cav) but I can appreciate what he has done in this series.

Yes, injuries are a part of the game and it was fortunate for GS that they had healthy roster despite some bumps and bruises. I know it's not possible but I would've really like to see the series played with at least a healthy Kyrie Irving (All Star MVP). It definitely would've been.... interesting

Get ready for this stat. Lebron lead in points, rebounds and assists for the entire series.

I would say, if Love and Irving were in there at full strength, the Cavs could have swept.

Not 100% on that, but they would have definitely won the series.

IMO Kevin Love was just finding his way and starting to gel in the post season just before the injury. He was shooting over 40% from 3pt range.

Kyrie had found his rhythm earlier in the season after a shaky start with Lebron.

Watching the series with Golden State was like watching a T-Rex getting taken down by a bunch of volociraptors.

I hated him for going to Miami, but gave him huge props for returning to Cleveland and became a fan and pulled for him to win.
