Thumbs up Michael Vick Reinstated

I think it's good choice by the commisioner to let him back in even though it's on a conditional basis. He served his time and there are much worse violators in professional sports. I'll be curious to see what team picks him up. Of course Dallas is after him lol.

He's served his time and lost millions in the process, I think that's enough. I don't get why he wants to impose more conditions and allow him to play in the preseason but then sit out 4 or 5 games

It will be interesting to see which team or teams make a run at him.

I don't have a problem with him playing with another team other than the Falcons.
Not because of what he did, but because I don't think he'd be able to bring a team to the Super Bowl.

Is he exciting to watch? Heck yeah, that is until he stopped running and started trying to be a pocket passer.

He did his time. Give him an opportunity to right the wrongs done in the past.

because apparently killing dogs is more serious then killing people. Guess he should of consulted Ray Lewis first.

I think Vick deserves a second chance, but imo its kind of outrageous to suspend him for the first 6 games.. He served his time, he paid his dues. he should get full reinstatement

NFL had to let him back. He's too much money for the league, especially when the market is down. He's going to sell tickets, period.

I hope he's learned his lesson and stays trouble free.

Looking at it from a purely economic point of view, you're probably right. But look at Pete Rose. He was surely a money-maker for Major-League baseball, and Cincinatti in particular, yet never got a second chance after the famous betting incident. The incident (so far) has also kept him out of the Hall of Fame.

So, I'm not saying not to give Vick another chance (and you make a fair case for it), but it has to be pointed out that "learning one's lesson" is not always enough.

(BTW, I posted that cartoon above, not because I necessarily agreed with it, but because I thought it was funny )

Interesting news the latest from ESPN says the Patriots, Steelers, Eagles and Ravens are in the "Final Four" that want to pick him up. Wonder how the starting QB's on those teams feel about that.
