Default Welp, there goes the neighborhood...

Actually, the state..

Its early yet, but due in either June or July, we are expecting our first child!

Now, we transition from sports car shopping, to stroller shopping.

Yep, you'll need a stroller, and, of course, one of these......

We don't know any of the above yet. We called an OB/GYN and they are sorting out the insurance side of things. Hope to make our first appointment in the next day or two. If it happened when we think it happened though, she should be between 6 and 8 weeks right now, which would put us roundabout beginning of July for a due date. She started prenatal vitamins as soon as we found out, and nausea and morning sickness are in full swing here.

We are excited and scared. Not sure what we are in for, but we know it'll be a wild ride regardless!

Congrats! Before 6-7 weeks they cant really see anything on a sonogram anyways, 8 weeks is when you want to get in and have that done.

The scared will stay with you. I will tell you though, my wife and I both agree our kids are the best things we've ever done. Its an indescribable thing to watch your own kids grow and change and learn, it truly is amazing. Its really hard too, but just remember everything goes quickly, and no phase they're in ever stays with you very long. I'm still scared and they're almost 4, my wife handles things way better than I do. The adjustment to your life is just huge, but in a good way.

My wife is out of town tonight (in my Lexus!) the kids are asleep, we ate pizza and watched the Pirates of the Caribbean instead of dinner and a bath. By the way....Pirates of the Caribbean is NOT appropriate for 3 year olds LOL. Just a top tip.

PM me anytime, happy to talk about it whenever you'd like.

Sorry she has to go through that, but (though I'm not enough of a doctor to know exactly why), that is rather common during pregnancy. Hope she feels better soon.

Certainly not when Blackbeard starts some of his antics LOL. (His real name in history, BTW, was Edward Teach).

CONGRATS!!

Sorry to hear about the morning sickness, nausea. I hope for her sake it is truly morning sickness. My wife was sick/nauseated from 8am - 9pm. It is just called morning sickness but really it's all the time for some women. For some it goes away in the 2nd trimester, but my wife experienced it for about 8 months. Hope your wife has an easier and uneventful pregnancy!
