On page 52 of my 2013 Lexus ES350's warranty and services guide the 35k miles interval calls for no oil change; but it gently nags you that if you didn't use 0-20w in your last oil change, you should take this opportunity to correct that. It's Toyota's way of saying, we built you a nice car, plz don't muck this up.. Probably also why I should be married to an Asian woman.

Japanese culture is probably a better title to this thread, as all Asian don't share the same pride in culture. Look at S. Korea, they still can't build a decent car. Not sure what the point of this is other than I have so much respect for Japanese culture.. Americans just say good luck.
