another reason I don't like Apple - IMO, they pioneered the non-removable batteries (or at least made it VERY MAINSTREAM).....read the link below.

Apparently 1G Airpods batteries don't last long at all.....but Apple will replace the batteries....for $49 each, LOL!

I’ve never felt the need for an apple watch, but the latest ios and watchos upgrades have persuaded me to finally jump on the bandwagon. The integration is finally past infancy and i believe as full featured as it can get currently. My iphone X and my new 42mm rose gold watch have really surprised me with all they can do together. I’m enjoying the standard features like activity and heart rate, but advanced features are making me glad i got the x model. Using the watch to control the camera remotely is one perk to having an x model, which has great cameras and features front and back. Having a later model phone with a faster processor is helpful, as there is no lag between the devices. I was receiving a text on my watch when my uncle called and i took my first call on my watch. Once the call was done it went back to the text and i continued typing and sent it. Something that at first i felt was gimmicky, has matured into a neat combo as watchos has evolved into 5.x (6.x coming next month!).

My Mac family feels complete with the watch added, and with the iphone x and higher you can get the full features of both OS.

I love my Apple Watch. I jumped on the first edition when it came out, and enjoyed the activity tracker and being able to read messages on the watch. At the time, taking calls on it was next to impossible as it would take a long time to connect. Using the writing function to respond to texts on the screen was also unusable. I jumped to the 4th and latest model last year and it truly is a huge difference. Love my Apple Watch.

I like my Apple Watch. I definitely donít love it. The best feature is that I can check text messages without taking the phone out of my purse etc etc. I have set it up so that most things do not alert me. I like how I can get calendar alert on my watch. Heart rate sensor is a good feature.

My watch can take pictures for my iPhone 8 as a remote.

Agreed, that’s why i waited for the os to mature. Integration is great in ios now. Apple is doing their usual BS with limiting some of the os to newest watches without merit as the watches 1 through 3 are nearly identical, but i expect it. Small things like full screen in vapor and fire.
