Default Detroit then and now

To see how the Motor City has changed over some of its 313 years, simply drag your mouse across the photos from left to right and watch Detroit transform before your eyes.

I enjoy seeing these types of then & now images.

There have been numerous attempts to promote Detroit's renaissance. One of the best-known is Chrysler's "Imported from Detroit" (never mind that Chrysler is actually Fiat/Italian-owned). On the new 2015 Chrysler 200, the rubber mat under the center-sonsole's dugout (NOT the regular floor-mat) actually has the city's skyline molded into it.
