and with cell phones its kinda the same thing for me- the Nokia 8850/8855/8890 and 8910 series phones are just beautifully classic to me! even though I've had problems with them and while my 8850 is like 3-4 years old- its still my favorite phone
my Nokia 6610 (color screen, camera, radio) just doesnt compare in style

I admit I wear a watch just to wear a watch- when I need to look at the time usually its my cell phone that pops out first

Me too I got an all titanium Mr. G from a friend as a gift.
She got it while working on a marketing campaign for Casio.
I have destroyed so many nice watches.
Or the ones I had that were too nice I was scared to wear because I knew I would break it somehow. So G-shocks work well.

Same here, same reason. Looks a little odd when I have to wear my tux, though.
But I'm an Arkie, so I'm not supposed to know any better........

Personally I think the best wearing and long lasting value for dollar watch on the market today is any of the Rado Hi-Tech
watches. My watches are the black wideband multi-function
Rado Ceramica, the hard metal(Tungsten Carbide) Rado Chrono Diastar diving watch,
the Rado 24K gold and ceramica Diastar Integral dress watch, the Tag Professional brushed stainless and gold, the titanium Breitling chrono Aviator, and the Tag blue face chrono Kirium. So that it doesn't sound bragadocious I collect watches. I've owned the Rolex and can assure you the only difference in the watches Rado vs Rolex is the Rado will look new in 30 years and the Rolex will look: well 40 years old and set you back thousands more. Those of you looking for the best quality for the dollar (kinda like LEXUS)will definitley go for the RADO line of watches... S.B.

I love watches! Though can't afford the fancy ones.
I have three - Time America - tan leather band, roman numerals,
Fossil - black leather band, only four markings I, III, VI, IX, XII
Elle - Black leather band, black leather face roman numerals.
I use them for looks and occasionaly time.

I wear the Seiko Arctura to work. Also have Spoon UFO, Spoon Blow, Casio Futurist, and a Futurist with vibrating alarm, Wenger, another Wenger, another Arctura, Timex Indiglo with alarm, a red LED replica, an old Rolex, and two more that got stolen..
I guess I like watches..lol

i'm not too into watches, i bought a movado because i liked the style and look. I only wear it when i dress up to go out. Otherwise the cell phone does have the time and date and stuff for normal wear.
