Default 2015 GS 350 F, vibration

Hello all. I should start by saying I just replaced rotors and pads about 1k miles ago. About 700 miles later, very slight vibration driving at higher speed, HUGE shudder when braking at high speed. Oddly, it seems a little worse once car is warm. Any thoughts, other than I bought bad rotors? One mechanic had it on a lift, thought the front control arm bushings were bad. He showed me the movement with a pry bar and it seemed slight to me, at which point he said there might not be that much play after all. Isn't some very slight movement within the bushing expected? It does not act like a warped rotor at low speeds; doesn't grab and release when coming to very slow stop, etc. No noise typical of bad wheel bearings. Any thoughts?

Hi, I'm not sure if this will help, as it may be something entirely different. But, I did have a similar issue with my 2014 GS 350 F sport. It wasn't right after a brake job (can't remember, it may have been), but driving on the highway one night it started to vibrate. I thought I blew a tire but after I pulled over and looked around, everything seemed to be fine. Once back on the road, the vibration only came back a few times and didn't last very long. It was a very fast (high frequency?) vibration.

Took it to the dealer a few days later since the oil needed to be changed, turned out it was the parking brake. They loosened it a bit, and the car has been perfect since. This was almost two years ago.

Hope this helps, and that everything works out for you!

Did you replace with oem rotors? Aftermarket rotors didn’t work out for me, they were smaller than factory, and the rotors ate into the pads. This had the exact same symptoms as you described.

Default Same problem

Going around 10-50 feels like my rear sorta wobbles, def not my tires , both sets of my wheels still feels it. Now going at high speeds it’ll vibrate for like 5-7 secs then stop and does it constantly 🤬🤬🤬🤬
