Default Installing RS-R coilovers this saturday, got a quick question.

What did you guys do with adjustable dampening motors? RS-R coils are obviously not compatible with that feature. So, did you remove the motors or unplugged them somehow?

thanks

You might want to check here, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension-243/

I believe they just left it where it is unplugged.

Thanks! I'll zip tie mine to something as well then.

I got the sport ones. I wish they would make black series for AWD.

I remove mines And put it in a box, no need to leave it there and let the motors running for no reason.

Its easy to remove the unit. The most annoying part will be taking out the panels in the trunk and setting up your suspension. especially the rear.

Yeah, that won't be easy but worth the hassle

Oh yeah when you install the rear have the coils in the highest and work your self down it will save you from taking the arms apart again.

What did you guys do with the rear adjuster for the spring? I left mine in the same position as it is shown in the picture below. My ride is very bouncy, I'm trying to find out why.....

I don't remember setting mine that far down. How's the height?

Have you played around with the adjustable damper settings on the shocks?
